WHAT IS THE FEA UP TO THESE DAYS?

2024 at the FEA

  • PUBLISHING

Zoom Teams are working on translating Beudant, Baucher, and DuPaty de Clam. Original books are underway, too.

  • EDUCATION

Thinkific, our online learning platform, continues to grow.

Marie Haglund from Borås, Sweden earned her instructor’s certification.

Marie Matter, from Mount Gambier, South Australia working online is getting very close to completion, and we expect her to earn her full instructor certification this coming year.

Five new credential course candidates have committed to working towards their first credential.

  • CREDENTIALED INSTRUCTORS: the grants program

Two grants were awarded in 2024:

Funds were provided to help ship a skilled seatwork horse from Washington to teach Megan Sorentino’s students in Colorado

The new Craig Stevens Memorial Library project was awarded funds to support its start.

What’s coming up next?

  • Clinicians available

Mary Anne Campbell has retired from running the old farm and will spend 2025 on clinic tours. Between teaching: she’ll be writing.

Credentialed Instructors Megan Sorentino from Colorado in the US, and Anneli Eriksson from Knivsta, Sweden are also teaching clinics in the coming year.

We’re also planning on developing more online content and other ways to lean into this beautiful work.

We have so much on deck for 2025!

Beudant’s Hand without Legs, Baucher’s Rational Dictionary, and the Mediterranean Horsemanship book are all expected to be out by summer.
